Beginning December 1, Caldera House embraces the holiday spirit from the moment you arrive. The lobby glows with festive décor, the scent of pine and spice fills the air, and every corner feels touched by the season. Suites are styled for cozy evenings in, complete with flickering fireplaces, soft throws, and the simple pleasure of watching snow fall outside your window.
Families and guests of all ages can find moments of joy throughout the month. In the lobby, little ones can write Letters to Santa on custom Caldera stationery, while the mischievous Elf on the Shelf makes surprise appearances each morning. For something sweeter, freshly baked cookies and hot chocolate are served daily — a comforting ritual from late November through spring.
Prefer a quieter evening? Turn your suite into a private cinema. Our Suite Cinema experience invites guests to select their favorite holiday film — Home Alone, The Holiday, or something of their own choosing — and enjoy it fireside with all the fixings for an in-room sundae.
The holidays at Caldera House are as much about the table as they are about the mountain. Corsa offers special Christmas Eve and Christmas Day menu additions crafted by the culinary team, each course reflecting the spirit of alpine comfort with refined technique.
Evenings are marked by candlelight, laughter, and wine shared among family and friends. Guests are encouraged to make advance reservations through Resy or the concierge, who can also assist with private dining experiences in the patio or lounge.
Each night from December 25 through January 2, the menorah is lit in the lobby at sundown — a quiet, inclusive gesture that honors the diversity of traditions celebrated under our roof.
As the year comes to a close, the energy shifts from cozy to celebratory. New Year’s Eve unfolds across the village, beginning with the Glow Worm and Torchlight Parades on the slopes, followed by fireworks illuminating the Tetons. Back at Caldera House, guests gather in Corsa for a night of dinner, dancing, and champagne as a DJ carries the celebration into the early hours.
It’s the perfect finale to a season defined by togetherness — a reminder that the most meaningful holidays are those spent surrounded by warmth, community, and mountain air.
