Day 1: Settle In + Explore Jackson

Morning Arrive in Jackson and check into your family-friendly lodging at Caldera House. Get familiar with your surroundings and relax.

Afternoon Visit Jackson Town Square for photos under the elk antler arches. Stop by the Jackson Hole Children’s Museum – a hands-on, interactive space that’s ideal for young kids.

Evening Early dinner at a casual family spot like The Bistro. Catch the Town Square Shootout (6 PM). Movie night back at Caldera House.

Day 2: Wildlife Safari + String Lake Picnic

Morning Embark on a private wildlife safari in Grand Teton National Park with a local guide. Kids will love spotting moose, elk, bison, bears, and eagles!

Afternoon Head to String Lake for a relaxing picnic. Let the kids splash or paddleboard in the shallow, calm waters. Great spot for safe water play.

Evening Dinner at Shin Shin, Caldera House’s Japanese restaurant. Optional babysitter/childcare service so adults can enjoy a quiet dinner or drinks.

Day 3: Snow King + Children’s Fun

Morning Head to Snow King Mountain Resort for kid-friendly activities: Alpine Slide, Mini-golf, Treetop Adventure Course, scenic chairlift ride.

Afternoon Lunch at Nora’s Fish Creek. Head back for rest or indoor play time in the Kids Room at Caldera House.

Evening Pizza night at Corsa at Caldera House – fun, casual, and delicious. Family board game night or a quiet walk near the hotel.

Day 4: Biking + Gondola Views

Morning Rent e-bikes and trailers for a family ride along the Multi-Use Pathway through Grand Teton National Park. It’s scenic, safe, and flat.

Afternoon Ride the Big Red Tram at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. At the top, enjoy snacks and sweeping views of the Tetons. Explore gentle trails or let kids play in the wildflower fields.

Evening Take advantage of a childcare service for some adult time. Dinner at Snake River Grill or Calico (casual).

Day 5: Teton Village + Relaxation

Morning Visit Teton Village Commons: enjoy the pop jet fountains, open grassy areas, and climbing structures.

Afternoon Optional second visit to String Lake, or head to a scenic picnic spot in Grand Teton National Park. Let the kids earn their Junior Ranger badges at a visitor center.
